1. Our commitment
Squabble exists to open a door the system kept closed. That commitment does not stop at disability.
We want every person — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, switch devices, magnification, or other assistive technology — to be able to tell Sophie what happened, review their documents, and manage their case. Access to justice that excludes people with disabilities is not access to justice.
2. The standard we work toward
We design and build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We do not claim perfect conformance — few live products truthfully can — but WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark we measure our work against, and closing the gaps between our platform and that standard is part of our ongoing engineering work, not a one-time project.
3. What our design standard requires
Every page built to our current standard is required to include:
- Semantic structure — meaningful headings, landmarks, and labels that assistive technology can navigate;
- Full keyboard operability — every interactive element reachable and usable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link;
- Readable text — type and color combinations chosen for contrast, and layouts that respect your browser’s text-size settings;
- Comfortable targets — touch targets at least 44 pixels tall for links and controls;
- Motion you control — animation disabled when your device requests reduced motion;
- Text alternatives — alt text for meaningful images, and forms with clear labels and error messages.
4. Honest limits
Court-prescribed documents. Some documents in your case are on forms prescribed by courts. We do not control how courts format their forms, and some court-issued forms and PDFs are not fully accessible. Where that affects you, contact us — we will work with you to make the content of your case materials available to you in a way that works for you.
Third-party steps. A few steps in the platform — such as payment processing — are provided by third parties with their own interfaces, which we do not control.
Older pages. Parts of the platform predate our current design standard. We are bringing them up to it, and we prioritize fixes that affect someone’s ability to use their case.
5. If you hit a barrier
If any part of Squabble is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us. Accessibility feedback goes to the front of the line.

This statement applies to squabble.ai and the Squabble platform, operated by Squabble International, Inc. We review it as the platform evolves. It was last updated on July 6, 2026.
